Saturday, September 26th

Grandma Jo’s birthday party on the patio at Sylvan Lake’s main lodge. There will be food and drink, but don’t bring presents! If you want to do something that feels like a present to mark the occasion, feel free to donate to the Custer, SD food shelf.

Sunday, September 27th

There are a ton of people coming that have birthdays within spitting distance of the end of September. So, the loose plan is to meet at Mt. Rushmore for lunch. It’s a hike-able distance from Sylvan Lake, or there will surely be a carpool heading over there.

Monday, September 28th

The Buffalo Run proper is on Monday at dawn and goes until about lunchtime. There are scads of events surrounding the run, like art showings, craft fairs, hikes, and a ton more.
